During the summer of 1998 my family and I spent a month in Isla Vista, California (right outside of Santa Barbara), which is where we had lived for half a year when I was in fourth grade. Here are some pictures from the summer of '98. Our camera was pretty terrible, so you'll see a lot of mottled pictures. I've since gotten a much better one.

Our house in Isla Vista.
A little frog hiding in the door to our patio.
Some birds in motion over the waves.
Meera and a magnificent horse.
A field of flowers on the way up to San Francisco.
Ostriches chillin'.
Maya with an emu.
The Rock.
At the Golden Gate Observation Point.
Outdoor pool at the Hearst's.
Young me The path to the beach from our neighborhood.
Parasailers above Aspen cliff A view of the beach near our house.
Aspen Mountains One dude enjoying the view.
Maya and the friendly hoss.
The sun shining through the clouds on the coast. A better camera would have done this much more justice.
A closer up picture of some ostriches. I think they're cute ;).
Meera, Maya, and our cousin Roopa in a big sequoia.
The Golden Gate Bridge.
A view from the Hearst estate.
Indoor pool. Look weird? 'Cause it's upside down. View it right-side-up. Pretty cool, huh?
